Artifact Description:

As part of a student’s portfolio assessment, they are asked to write three letters of introduction, one each to the faculty, parents, and students of the school at which they have just been appointed principal. Students must take into account the four-frame analysis of Bolman & Deal (political, structural, human resource and symbolic) as they think about how they want to approach this organization and its constituencies. In January 2009 students post their final “Community Analysis” Project completed at the end of their Program Evaluation Course.
