Students must identify a policy issue that they feel must be addressed. The issue must have implications for students at the local level who are disadvantaged due to socioeconomic, ethnic, gender, disability, or other factors.

a. Use the framework from Leading Dynamic Schools to analyze the issue

b. Analyze the policy environment (federal, state, local)

c. Identify the desired outcome of this policy on students at the local level

d. Describe how you would create a sense of urgency and raise awareness about this policy issue
