For the final project, students must define a curriculum-related problem in a memorandum to their superintendent. They must include a rationale for why the problem exists; research the problem as they work toward a final solution; propose a solution to the problem that includes writing new curriculum or revising existing curriculum; and write a reflection that discusses their personal learning in completing the project, including relating this learning to improving student achievement.
